- GRIMSBY, ON – NASCAR Canadian Tire Series veteran Jeff Lapcevich will have a new number and new chassis when his hauler rolls into Canadian Tire Motorsports Park to open the 2013 season, but the Grimsby native knows that despite the changes to his program over the off-season, the competition level at the top of Canada’s premier series remains the same.
“I’m excited to get back to CTMP with a new chassis. It’s been over a decade since we’ve had a new road course car and the technology has come a long way.”
Lapcevich had the brand new McColl Racing Enterprises chassis assembled over the off-season, and has had second-generation set-up artist Chris Couvillon put a package together for the first event of the season.
